What areas do you serve?
We are based in Nanaimo and serve businesses across Vancouver Island, including Victoria, Courtenay, Campbell River, Port Alberni, and surrounding communities. We also support clients in the Lower Mainland.
What size of business do you work with?
We work with small and mid-sized businesses, care facilities, non-profits, and First Nations organizations. Most of our clients have between 5 and 150 employees, though we work outside that range too. If you are not sure whether we are a fit, the easiest thing to do is give us a call.
Do you offer on-site support or remote support only?
Both. Most issues can be resolved remotely and quickly. When something needs hands-on attention, we come to you.
What does managed IT support include?
Day-to-day help desk support, proactive monitoring of your systems, network management, software updates, security, backups, and vendor coordination. Think of us as your IT department, without the cost of hiring one in-house.
How is working with Intraworks different from our current IT provider?
The most common thing we hear from new clients is that their previous provider was slow to respond and they never knew who they were going to get when they called. At Intraworks, you work with the same team. We know your name, your setup, and your business. We also only charge for the time it takes to resolve your issue. No flat rate per device and no paying for time you are not using.
How does pricing work?
Unlike most IT companies that charge a flat rate per desktop (typically $100 to $150 per device every month regardless of how much time is spent), we only charge for the time it takes to manage your systems. On a well-managed network, that averages 0.5 hours or less per desktop.
Do you charge a flat rate per device?
No. You only pay for the time it takes to resolve your issue. We do not charge a flat rate per PC or device, which means you are not paying for time you are not using.
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
We believe in earning your business month to month. We are not going anywhere and we do not expect you to feel locked in from day one.
